Nike celebrates Kobe Bryant’s 81-point career, franchise and NBA record-breaking game with the release of the Zoom Kobe III 81 points Edition. On January 22, 2006, NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant scored 81 points for their game against the Toronto Raptors. This not only broke the LA franchise record previously set by Elgin Baylor, but also the NBA scoring records as this puts him only second to Wilt Chamberlain’s legendary 100-point game in 1962.
The Zoom Kobe III 81 points Edition pay tribute to the greatness of the Black Mamba as he marks one more milestone in his career.
