Tennis – Rafael and Roger then who?

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer’s domination is outstanding how they do it tournament after tournament. They are so consistant in awesome shape. They hardly ever get injured so they must keep up their conditioning by keeping in extreme shape. Tennis is a tough sport. It is just you against the world. It must get lonely at times. I do have one problem with Nadal. Have you ever noticed I guess his nervous tick. He does it so much it is really obvious to see. When he serves, he keeps picking at his middle butt area?

Other than a couple of names, I can not pronounce occasionally challeges Nadal and Federer. They seem to have free run of the tennis courts. Who else is out there? Andy Roddick is so inconsistant. He is up and down like a yoyo. He can lose in the first round one week. Next tournament like Wimbleton he wins that. I have to say though i am jealous of his killer serve. I can only serve like that in my dreams. Roddick, I don’t know, if he practices hard enough, watch enough video, or cares enough about being the best. Are there any American players up and coming? I see Blake will occasionally make a splash. Marty Fish will have a few great matches then drop off.

The only tennis I will watch now is Nadal or Federer match. I like to watch the best. My time is too short to watch any less. I will watch my son playing sports otherwise i watch the best of the best. Life is too short. Everyone else seems boring to me. These two players were passed the torch from the amazing my 2nd favorite tennis player Pete Sampras. Pete was quiet, yet strong, focused, and very powerful. He let his work on the court do his talking for him. Andre Agassi (loud and proud), he was kinda the polar opposite of Pete. Jimmy Conners, I loved his grit and determination to fight til the death. Jimmy to me is the most competitive tennis player I have ever seen. The last three guys got the torch from the best tennis player ever Bjorn Borg and his nemises John Mc Enroe the cry baby.

I see Nadal uses his physical prowess to catch up to balls and is all over the court with amazing court coverage. I believe Federer is more of a tactician to where he is fantastic at putting the tennis ball where ever he wants at sharp angles at times with sizzling grace. Both Nadal and Federer respect the tennis game very well. They are very courteous. You never see them get in a fight with the court judge. You never see them be mean to a ball person. They genuinely kind and love their sport totally. You never hear Nadal or Federer say something stupid to the media. You never hear they are guilty of using recreational drugs like cocaine, marijiana,or herion. You never hear them being busted for using performance enhancing drugs. You never hear them accussed of a violent act like rape like a Pittsburg Steeler Quarterback twice Ben Roethlisberger ( It is kinda funny that he is getting married in July. Has this girl been a sleep? Did not here of the two rape accusations he got away with). I say thank you to both Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer for providing exciting tennis moments over the last few years and keeping me a tennis fan.
